Regional Meets

We organise regular regional meetings, open to both schools that are members of the Thinking School Network and those that aren’t. These meetings provide fantastic opportunities to visit a ‘Thinking School’ near you and offer the chance to network, share pedagogy and practice in developing a whole school approach to the creation of metacognitive, self regulatory learners. They are suitable for primary or secondary school leaders interested in exploring and/or embedding metacognition within their school.

Metacognition Meets are invaluable. It is a chance to share good practice with colleagues and is a great opportunity to see thinking in action by sharing ideas, visiting other schools and discussing implementation. It has supported me to feel more confident in developing metacognition in my school.
