How to tap into what drives staff and pupils to improve attainment and wellbeing.

'Motivation' is one of our Deep Dive Days - training designed to arm teachers with classroom ready strategies from the latest findings in the fields of cognitive and behavioural development, neuro-science and psychology. Whether you are a Thinking School or not, our Deep Dive Days are ideal CPD training for any teacher.

Workshop Description: 'Motivation' explores what it is that drives people and how tapping into what motivates both pupils and staff can transform performance and wellbeing at your school. Charlotte explains how to identify an individual's motivators and how to gauge their current level of motivation using Motivational Maps (as used by UCL’s Institute of Education). Various practical engagement strategies are then covered. These can be used by senior leaders, or by teachers/pastoral staff with pupils. These strategies will leave participants able to tap into their own individual motivators whilst knowing how to improve the performance, productivity, wellbeing and attendance of their pupils.

Target Audience:  Anyone in a school who wishes to increase their own levels of motivation or those of their staff or pupils. Leaders, pastoral teams and/or whole school staff.

How: Available as a whole or half day INSET, series of twilights, individual or small group consultation.
